Participation Requirements

Application Procedure

  • Participants must submit their paper abstracts and full texts through the system specified on the symposium’s official website.
  • Artists who wish to participate in the exhibition must upload high-resolution images of their works (in PNG/JPEG format) and a short biography to the online application system.
  • All papers, artworks, and payment receipts for participation fees must be sent to yasayanmiras.motif@gmail.com

1. Abstract Submission

  • Deadline: October 27, 2025

  • Abstracts must be in line with the main themes of the symposium.

  • Accepted abstracts will be announced on October 31, 2025, following the evaluation of the Scientific Committee.

2. Full Paper Submission

  • Deadline: November 10, 2025

  • Full papers must be submitted in accordance with the formatting guidelines.

3. Academic Evaluation

  • Papers will be evaluated under a double-blind peer-review process.

  • Accepted papers may be published in the symposium proceedings book, as a book chapter, or as an international journal article.

4. Participation Models

  • On-site participation: Attending sessions and exhibitions in person in Kütahya.

  • Online participation: Presenting papers online via Google Meet.

5. Symposium Language

  • The official languages of the symposium are Turkish and English.

  • Participants presenting papers must indicate the language of their presentation at the time of submission.

6. Participation Fees

  • Participation fees vary depending on the number of papers and artworks submitted.

  • A 20% discount applies to academics and students of Kütahya Dumlupınar University.

  • Participation fees must be paid to the designated bank account before the registration deadline, and the payment receipt must be sent to yasayanmiras.motif@gmail.com.

7. Certificate of Participation

  • Certificates will only be provided to participants who have paid the participation fee, completed registration, and delivered their presentation.

8. Exhibition Participation

  • Academics who participate with a paper will not be charged an additional exhibition fee.

  • Artworks will be evaluated by the selection committee based on originality, technical competence, and thematic relevance.

  • Exhibition submissions must also be accompanied by the participation fee receipt and sent to yasayanmiras.motif@gmail.com.

9. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Participation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
